Terms & Conditions
Last updated September 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of the CBC Moving platform at cbcdispatch.com, our Android and iOS apps, and the delivery services CBC provides, including the text message program described below. By using the platform or accepting a delivery from us, you agree to these terms.
SMS program terms
Program name and purpose. CBC Moving / CBC Moving sends transactional text messages about your delivery: scheduling invitations, appointment confirmations, day-before and day-of reminders, crew-on-the-way notices, and proof-of-delivery notifications.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies by delivery. For a typical delivery you will receive up to about 5 messages: one scheduling invitation, one confirmation, one day-before reminder, one morning-of reminder, and one on-the-way notice. You will not receive marketing or promotional texts.
Message and data rates may apply. Msg & data rates may apply to each message you receive, per your mobile carrier's plan.
Opt out (STOP). You can cancel delivery text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Opting out stops SMS notifications only and does not cancel your delivery.
Help. For help with your messages, reply HELP to any message, or contact us using the contact information below.
Support contact. Email support@cbcmoving.com, or call Lakewood dispatch at 425-728-1880 or Portland dispatch at 503-256-1065.
Consent. By providing your mobile number (to us or to the retailer or broker that tendered your shipment) and not opting out, you consent to receive these transactional text messages at the number you provided. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Our services
CBC provides final-mile delivery, warehousing, and related logistics services. CBC Moving is also licensed to other delivery companies; when another company handles your delivery, that company's terms apply to the delivery itself, and these terms govern the software and our own operations.
Delivery appointments, time windows, and estimated arrival times are estimates. Weather, traffic, and load conditions can change them. We will notify you of material changes where we reasonably can.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery address information, for having someone present to accept the delivery during the agreed window (or for approving a release without one), and for ensuring safe access to the delivery location, including any required permissions, elevators, or parking.
Inspect items at delivery where possible. Claims for loss or damage should be reported promptly with supporting photographs so we can process them under the repair or claims process.
Payment and charges
Delivery fees, accessorial charges, and repair amounts are due as quoted and invoiced. Undisputed amounts are payable on the terms of the applicable invoice. Disputed amounts should be raised with support before withholding payment.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for claims arising out of a delivery is limited to the value of the affected goods or the delivery fee, whichever applies under the governing contract, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the platform, attempt to access data that is not yours, scrape or reverse engineer it, or interfere with its operation. Access is role-restricted and enforced on our servers.
Privacy
Our handling of personal data, message content, and location data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
